HYBRID EVENT | Sahar Vardi is an Israeli anti-militarist and anti-occupation activist from Jerusalem. She is a researcher and campaigner on issues of militarism in Israel and globally, including export of Israeli militarism worldwide. Join us as she discusses the latest efforts within Israel to resist Israel’s growing militarism in the West Bank, Gaza, and the region at large. **This event is free and open to the public. All proceeds will be split between Chicago Community Bail Fund and Beyond Bond and Legal Defense Fund, paying bond for people charged with crimes in Cook County and working to free people in ICE prisons in New England, respectively.**

Join Tzedek Chicago for a workshop to celebrate Tu B'Shvat, led by artist and kohenet Nomy Lamm. Lamm is an illustrator, musician, and the Creative Director of Sins Invalid, a disability justice based performance project. Nomy creates ritual tools for embodied queer Jewish feminist practice, including the Dreaming the World to Come planner and the Omer Oracle deck. She is dedicated to anti-colonial, anti-racist practices, and to witnessing a free Palestine in her lifetime.
