Tzedek Chicago’s Family Program
Intergenerational, Liberated, and Experiential Learning.
At Tzedek Chicago’s Family Program, families explore their relationship to Jewish practice, text, and culture through experiential and creative study and play. We take our community seriously, and we celebrate the power of joy in our Jewish journeys. We understand our program as a place for us to heal as Jewish people, and we welcome all children and adults from wherever they are as we build towards our vision of the world to come that our children deserve to inherit.
Tzedek Chicago’s Family Program honors our Family Program founder, Erin Weinstein, of blessed memory, whose incredible commitment to warm and accepting experiences for our children defines the culture and values of our program today.
Who We Welcome:
All families as they define themselves
While this program is centered on Jewish learning and life, we welcome all Jewish people and partners, no questions asked.
Those who believe in Palestinian liberation and collective liberation for all people
Caregivers who are committed to being integral in their children’s Jewish journey
Adults who honor all children's learning, expression, and development
Our Family Program is only available to members of Tzedek Chicago, and expects that all families uphold Tzedek Chicago’s Core Values.
