Liberated, Life-Affirming Learning
original message sent on March 11, 2026
As Rabbi Brant steps back after 11 years in his role as our Founding Rabbi, Tzedek Chicago is honoring his work by securing a well-resourced future for our congregation and our movement. Join us as we share what we can create together as we approach Tzedek Chicago's Annual Fundraiser: Honoring Rabbi Brant Rosen March 21-22.
Dear Supporters,
Tzedek Chicago’s Family Program began in 2017 with a few families gathering together in living rooms and parks around the city. In 2026, Tzedek Chicago will have a team of 2 educators and 3 full-time staff people, and we will welcome 32 families to join us for liberated, life-affirming Jewish learning for children and their caregivers of all ages.
Right now, we are 19% of the way towards the $40,000 we need to fund Tzedek Chicago's next steps. We have 11 days until our weekend of fundraiser events.
Expanding our Growing
Family Program
We deserve Jewish learning free from ethno-nationalism, rooted in equity, justice, and solidarity. Your gift to Tzedek Chicago sustains:
"Tzedek Chicago's Family Program is a place where my kid is learning that being Jewish and standing up for human rights are synonymous. It’s a place where we can all be in community with Jews whose values align with ours."
-Family Program Participant, Age 41
"I think I should be in Tzedek because it’s a great program and it respects what people think and it’s just great."
-Family Program Participant, Age 9
Tzedek Chicago's Family Program fosters connected, joyful, and principled Jewish lives that are essential to our shared vision of a liberated future.
Join us this weekend as we learn just how far your gift will go, and celebrate with us at Tzedek Chicago's Annual Fundraiser Honoring Rabbi Brant Rosen -- a weekend of in-person and virtual events.
With gratitude,
Aviva Stein
